What stands between you and You

As we go about our daily lives, multi-tasking, worrying and facing challenges, we often forget that there is more to us than what we see. Our Higher Self never gives up in trying to communicate with us, through dreams, desires, and circumstances. We keep going, without paying attention. Unaware that our Higher Self is our best friend and an infinite source of unconditional love.

Through our limiting beliefs, we create an inner image of ourselves that does not match how We see ourselves, but this image has the strongest grip in our minds. Until we remember that what we are, is infinitely powerful and beautiful.

How You see you

To the Higher parts of You, you are always a wonderful being. You are perfection, an extension of divine creative energy. According to You, you are the best expression of consciousness, you are worthy, you are lovable. No matter what you think of yourself. When you think you are unlovable, fat, tired, sick, not good enough, too stressed out, too busy… You don’t. You don’t judge yourself, You will keep shining your inner light, knowing that you are a beautiful body of spiritual energy, living on Earth.

Where are You?

Our Higher Self is always there with us, aware of us, always connected to us. But often times we don’t see it. Each limiting belief is like a blind, filtering out the light. It is sunny out there, but we sit in a dark room by our own making. We can’t stop the light from streaming, we can only use our personal switch to prevent access to it.

The moment you start seeing yourself with the same eyes as You, you have opened the gates of communication, and the never ending stream of unconditional love and light will start flowing toward you. The bigger part of you hasn’t gone anywhere, it’s right there, ready to let you be the glorious you that You intended to be, from your higher perspective.

Dismantling your limiting beliefs

Every time you think of yourself in a negative or limiting way, remember that it is from your smaller, three-dimensional, perspective. It is not who and how you are, it is only what you think you are. Not only, it is what you think you are on just a small and limited part of yourself. Nothing more but a belief, a habitual thought about yourself from your smaller self.

The moment you are aware of this, the belief is no longer thinking you, it’s just you thinking the belief. The grip is gone, because that belief can be replaced with another thought about yourself, from the perspective of the bigger, multi-dimentional You.

Thinking from Your higher perspective

Whenever you catch yourself thinking limiting thoughts about yourself, play a fun game and switch into the You mode. If we have been thinking a certain way and have created an image of our smaller self over the years, we won’t believe it when we make statements that are too far fetched from our point of view. But if you let another part of You express these thoughts, you will start accepting them and see the intrinsic truth to them.

“I am overweight” is something that the higher You cannot understand about you, because what You really think is

I am a perfect being, radiating consciousness.

“I am not good enough” makes no sense to You, who instead is thinking

I am pure energy, living in a world of energy. Therefore I will always have the resources to move through it, and find my way.

Pretend you are You, until you realize that you truly are You. Let Your light shine through your beautiful, perfect, intelligent smaller you!

What do You think?

Palma

Palma, you are so right that we can be very critical of our physical self. A lot of it seems to stem from beliefs that to be human is almost a punishment. Belief systems that feel we should shun many of our most basic and natural instincts to rise to a higher calling. We must allow ourselves to be perfectly human. Which means we must love and accept that we are not flawless. We learn, grow and experience through our flaws.

Hi Reginald, yes, allowing ourselves to be perfectly human, with no resistance, no judgment… no fear. Knowing that being human means being divine at the same time, as an expression of All That Is. When we start loving our flaws, they dissipate, like bubbles in spring water.

Good reminders on the Higher Self, Palma. One method that works great is to write a letter to your HS. Just pour your heart out, ask questions and ask for a stronger connection.

After a few days, sit, clear your mind and without censoring have your HS write a reply. Just let it flow and allow the words to come through. Beautiful letters are written this way. Paece…

Hi Pamir, you are right. Writing to our Higher Self is a wonderful method to open a channel of communication. Some do it through meditation too. Letting wisdom flow through the reply, with no resistance… it’s the beauty of different dimensions talking to each other. Thank you for sharing this!

This is definitely the best blog I have ever run across regarding mind and consciousness, very well written and informative. Thanks for bringing all of this to light (pun intended). As a designer, I must also congratulate you on all of your cool downloads too, I especially like that you have a Mac OS X widget! I look forward to reading more of the posts and coming back often.

Kotto, thank you so much for your feedback! I am glad that you find the articles inspiring. Mankind is ready for a shift in consciousness, and the purpose of this blog is to help raise it, as part of a global conscious community.

As time allows, there will be more downloads and widgets as well. Looking forward to seeing you back here! :-)

Division is … an illusion. Sometimes a useful one, but an illusion all the same. The higher self is just the part of you that extends into those other dimensions, the way your head extends into the part of the room high above the floor. Communicating with your higher self is mainly a matter of shifting your attention in that direction.

Elizabeth – That’s right, division is an illusion, and it does serve a purpose. By shifting our attention, we have instant access to the higher parts of ourselves. I love your analogy of the head extending into the part of the room high above the floor! :-)
