Site review – Spiri2al, Sharing Spiritual Knowledge

Global consciousness is shifting, more and more people are awakening to a deeper view of reality, and are expanding their desire to learn about spiritual matters. New online tools and communities are now appearing to answer this call. I have just recently come across Spiri2al, a wonderful resource for sharing and finding spiritual knowledge. This site works like a “spiritual Digg”, and fills a much needed gap, by focusing on spiritual topics, within the categories of meditation, yoga, health, spirituality, astrology, and tarot.

Like Digg, Spiri2al is a place for people to discover and share content from the web. You can vote up or down a story, and when a submission gets enough votes, it is moved to the front page. There is a place to comment on stories and create an ongoing discussion, and to find friends that share similar interests.

This is a valuable resource for both publishers running a spiritually oriented blog, who can submit their own stories and share them with the world, and for users, who can find interesting articles gathered in one place. To see how it works, you can take a tour of spiri2ual.

Submitting stories, blogs, and resources you find interesting is really easy. Using the bookmarklet in your browser, available in the tools section, you click on it whenever you come across a page that you want to share with the community. Submission is really easy and automatic.

I am an active user of this site and I love it. I have already found very interesting sites through it, besides submitting other blogs and my own articles and sharing them with a wider user base. I believe that Spiri2al will grow to become a very large community and spiritual social network, because of the specific focus it offers. Quite often I had problems submitting stories to Digg, because I could never find the appropriate category. Having a place that is dedicated to spiritual knowledge is extremely valuable and useful, and a step forward in global shift.

You can follow @spiri2al on Twitter, for the latest updates. Create your spiri2ual profile, and start sharing spiritual knowledge with the world!

I actually found out about spirit2al.com earlier this week. I am very impressed with it and happy to find that there are many people interested in spirituality and meditation. I will definitely continue to read sources I find in the site and submitting others I find on the net. This was a fantastic idea and will hopefully motivate others to become more active in spiritual communities around the internet.
