Holographic reality and the Universal Mind

The theory that the Universe is a giant hologram, projecting what we call reality from the stream of Universal Consciousness, which contains all the encoded information, leaves us wondering on how physical reality comes into being.

The idea that reality as we perceive it to be is an illusion of the Mind, has brought some branches of modern science closer to the view of ancient eastern philosophies. The theories and experimental findings of quantum physics have profoundly changed our way of trying to understand the world around us. In the article An emerging science holds the promise of understanding and explaining our place in the universe, U Create All takes a look at Biocentrism, a scientific theory based on the view that life and consciousness form the basis of observable reality, and of the Universe itself. Without consciousness, everything floats in a state of probabilty, and has not come into existence.

Consciousness turns energy into matter

A very interesting phenomenon has been observed in quantum experiments. An electron can manifest as either a particle or a wave, but only when it is being observed it will behave as a particle. Experimental findings have shown that when an electron is not being observed, it is always a wave. In other words, without consciousness, and the act of observation, things only exist in an undefined state of probability, as a field of unified energy. We are in the realm of potentiality, while physical reality is defined by the observation. Another fascinating finding of quantum theories is the non-locality of particles at the quantum level. Every point in space is equal to all other points in space. Everything is infinitely interconnected to everything else. Separateness and solidity are not our ultimate reality, but an illusion that we experience at the physical level of existence. How is our reality created, and why do we perceive it as solid and separate?

Holographic interference patterns and dynamic relativity

According to Holographic Reality of Being: The Nonlocal Universal Mind, on GaianXaos, a holographic view of the Universe can help us understand how this intricate and interconnected energy field creates the projections that we perceive as physical reality. What a holographic plate records is not the actual three dimensional image, but the interference patterns of the two laser beams. The interference is the pattern created by crossing waves, much like the rings produced by a pebble thrown in the water.

In the holographic model, we say that the information of the whole is contained in each part. This is the same thing as saying that the information is distributed non-locally. We have also found that, at the quantum level, all particles are also waves. Thus, all of physical reality is essentially nothing but interference patterns.

It is the interference patterns which produce the image in a hologram, the actual holographic plate will appear as a blur of swirls, the crossing of the waves. The same way, our physical reality is projected by consciousness in the act of observing. The undefined blur of an intricate web of energy fields, is translated by awareness into physical things. Consciousness is the laser beam that produces the projection by decoding the interference patterns.

The web of energy fields, which forms the Universe, is infinitely interconnected, and everything is one and non-localized in the undefined blur of potentiality. Separateness of physical reality is a holographic illusion, once the decoding of the energy field has taken place. Objects and people appear as separate when physical, but are one and the same at the quantum wave level. Not only, what we perceive as objects is only because of the translation of frequency patterns by our senses. What is really there in front of us is an energy field. The electrons and subatomic particles originate as waves, and start behaving as particles when consciousness observes that particular part of the hologram.

This filtered version creates separateness because it only perceives bits and pieces of the whole at a time. If we could remove the filter, we would experience reality directly as an interference pattern where all information is distributed non-locally.

The multiple aspects of existence

The concept of dynamic relativity is quite intriguing. Something can exist and be defined only in relation to something else. We cannot define the day, without having experienced the night. That which is, must be related to what is not that. In order to experience itself, consciousness must relate to another aspect of itself. The absolute existence of the undefined has to polarize in order to become two relative aspects of existence (dualism). The process continues indefinitely, each polarization creating multiple relational realities, on each subsequent level. No matter how deep we go into the process, each relative reality originates from the one absolute reality, where there is no separation. Each relative reality contains all the information of the whole. At the same time, without relative reality, consciousness cannot experience itself.

Each one of us is a polarized, relative aspect of absolute reality. That is, our individual consciousness is just an aspect of the same Universal Mind, or the unified consciousness. We are the unified interference pattern, focused on a particular aspect of itself. Consciousness has to polarize in order to experience itself, and physical reality can only occur when there is relative existence. In other words, it is consciousness that produces physical reality, and not the other way around.

You are the Universal Mind itself. You are the interference pattern, connected to everything else in this Universe. Projected into physical reality, your individual point of consciousness is a polarized aspect of the Whole, which you ultimately are. You are the observer, experiencing the observation. Which part of the unified field are you projecting into the hologram?

No mean feat to simplify this complex theory, well done.

I have been feeling recently that this new paradigm of understanding will get really interesting when we free ourselves of the concept of time as we currently live it. We really are on the brink of a quantum leap, hard to believe from looking at the tv, but the trail is being blazed in the collective consciousness from both spiritual and scientific fronts. Interesting times!

Ray, I agree with you. With a new understanding of time, things will get really interesting. New doors will open, and a new perspective on the fabric of reality will emerge. Our interaction with it will be fascinating. In the unified field, past present and future are one, and happening at the same time. We are so close to that quantum leap!

It’s funny that science is calling this a “theory”. Scientists are re-discovering and experimenting with exactly what enlightened minds have written about for centuries. I would say that they are much more closer to the eastern philosophies than they think, especially from what I have read regarding Zen. So many of the writings seem to state the exact same concepts, but in much more poetic terms. I definitely believe it is the ultimate reality. Makes me wonder what the enlightened experience must be like, to know it in every fiber of your being once the barriers are gone. I can recall perhaps glimpses of it from long ago back when my life was not so busy and I spent more time hiking, mostly alone. Even before I started reading anything about this stuff, I recall some fleeting unquantifiable feelings or perhaps a seeing beyond the “illusion”, but momentary and so fleeting then gone, maybe shut down by the ego…

    • Palma says:

Hi Kotto, you are right, eastern philosophies have explained these concepts in a beautiful and poetic way. I have been wondering about the same thing, the feeling of knowing it in every fiber of your being, at all times. We do get glimpses, and when we do have that brief access to the feeling, we realize it’s something we can only experience and grasp, with the body and mind. Trying to describe it is extremely difficult. But we do know in every fiber of our being that those moments are “truth”.

Hi Lea, I have been fascinated by the Kabbalah too, the time has come to look deeper into it. All metaphysical schools seem to take us to a holographic view of the Universe. I will look at your posts on the subject as well!

“Which part of the unified field are you projecting into the hologram?”

Potential and creativity, mostly. All things are possible; some are vastly more likely than others.

    • Palma says:

Hi Elizabeth – Potential and creativity are beautiful aspects to project! Those are the qualities of the Universe itself. Infinite, ever expanding potentiality, and the ability to create on that potentiality, which brings things into manifestation. The likeliness of possibility perhaps depends on the specific channels we are tuning into.

the holographic theory is so close to my unified field theory du jour, well, not mine, nassim haramein’s. the information for the whole is contained in every part, but it’s a fractal based theory rather than a holographic. watch his 8 hour lecture on google video, it needs to be seen!

    • Palma says:

Henry, I will certainly watch the video lecture you mention. Thank you for bringing it up! :-) The fractal theory would work just as well. One could say that a hologram is a hyper-dimensional fractal. That’s when the fractal expands in all directions, not just horizontally and/or vertically. Each section and fragment contains the whole, and the fractal is made of vibrational patterns at various densities, all the way down to physical reality.

Psilocybin may be the key to more understanding on this matter. Reality experienced whilst taking mushrooms 100% proves that the physical world we normaly experience is a product of our brains rather than what is actually there. These pshycodelic substances let us see the fluid, connected world for what it is. We are one conciousness each experiencing tiny fragments of the possibilities.
    Anyway, time for dinner!

    • Palma says:

Hi Paul – It is quite interesting how psychedelic substances are able to filter out our perception, by altering our sensory translation of ‘reality’. Without that translation, we perceive the unified vibrational field, that is otherwise hidden behind the veil of the ‘holographic screen’. Or better, the projection.

We are one conciousness each experiencing tiny fragments of the possibilities.

      Nice one!

    To continue (sorry)
in my opinion the reason people appear to be suffering in the western world (physically and mentally) is because we have lost connection. Humans think of themselves as seperate entities treating nature as seperate. We have to realise that we an integeral part of everthing that exists. We are fighting against the very thing that makes us. We are lost and disconnected.
We fight against the rythms of light, we eat proceesed food that has lost its energy, we live in concrete jungles, we watch soap operas! Our cells just cannot function correctly. poor little mites.
We should check out how our cells live and work together, us humans have a lot to learn.
    Anyway, dinner

    • Palma says:

I agree. A sense of connection to nature and the order of things, is our bridge to feeling the connectedness of all things. We need to realize that we ‘are’ nature, and that nature is us.

I don’t think it would be safe to embrace this theory in it’s totality.. For example if one was to step off of the ledge of a tall building, almost certainly they would plunge to the ground without the aid of anything to stop to effects of gravity.

Here is a website of another theory which does take into account the concept of “shared reality”…

    http://openmindedrealism.com/

    • Palma says:

Hi Edward, a shared reality does exist, I agree. It is somehow encoded in the interference patterns producing our physical reality. As we translate the patterns, there is a shared agreement on the basic structure of the unified field. Given the current agreement, jumping off a tall building would certainly produce disastrous results.

I find this really fascinating, because it poses the question of what would happen if we collectively change the agreement. Could physical reality produce a structural shift? Is physical reality (beyond our individual projection) dependent upon a shared agreement (meaning that the collective agreement creates the blueprint)? If there was no observer to experience gravity and agree on it, would gravity still exist? Mind boggling questions indeed… :-)

Very interesting questions in this last post reply Palma….makes one wonder….

    • Palma says:

Hi Mario – I have yet to read “Conversations with God” and this is a great reminder to look into it. :-) I am not surprised that the principles coincide, even science is reaching the same conclusions, thanks to the findings of quantum physics. Being able to enjoy physical reality, while being aware at the same time that it is a “movie” projected into and from our mental screen (like a two-way mind/consciousness data transfer), makes the experience even more profound!

“Do not search for GOD, GOD is a given, instead, want more in every positive way. ” -un-named man from an astral travel.
Quantum physics is basically the search for GOD without knowing your searching for it. Under everything is exactly what this theory says, were all connected. Everything is ONE without direct observation. Its a “light”. That bright light everyone talks about in NDE’s. It is us without our skin, it is everything before its created. Why? Only because it can.
This is a definite theorem to pursue, but unfortunately you can never “understand” the whole GOD thing, its beyond logical understanding. If you do understand the whole “GOD” thing, you will sound like a complete loon to anyone you tried to explain it to. Because it is quintessentially yourself.

    • Palma says:

Hi Jimmy – That’s a beautiful way of putting it. Quantum physics is the search for God. I agree, and that’s why I believe that in the end science and spirituality will reach the same conclusions.

I completely agree with you that “God” is beyond logical understanding, one can get close to the concept, but ultimately it is an “experience”, where you feel the Oneness with your entire Being. When you realize that you are God, it is hard to put it in words. One can only merge with the One, in order to really know.

The merit of quantum physics is that in trying to come up with a logical explanation of that “light”, it may act as a catalyst for the direct experience.

Thank you for your great input! :-)

    • rick(new comment) says:

It is true, scientists have recently detected that the human body emits a faint light that is undetectable to the eye. As far as yourself being god, it is only part of the whole, matter is god, nature is god, light is god, consciousness is god, black holes and supernovas are god, quarks are god, energy is god. We all share positive and negative energies, this is the duality of nature, perfect symmetry, fractal existence echoing and reverberating from the level of the subatomic to the level of colliding brains and multiverses and hyper-dimensions. Think outside the box, to my friends in the ever expanding universe of connected experience i say you are me, and i you, lets open our minds to the realities that exist above below around and beyond what the senses can distinguish.

Ancient eastern philosophies reaffirmed by modern quantum physics.

Isn’t it about time to put this knowledge to work?

Now that we know what the fabric of the universe is made of how do I use this to manipulate reality to force reality to be less oppressive and destructive to the non elite??

    • Palma says:

Makeitwork, you raise a very important question!

I believe that in order to change the observation (effect), or physical reality, one must change the nature of the observer (cause), that is the point of perception. This is done through inner work, by raising individual consciousness to the vibrations of Love.

Through Love, we merge closer to Oneness, above the Matrix, and from that point of perception we are able to change what will be observed. When one radiates unconditional love all around, the hologram will reflect accordingly, thus contributing to the melting of oppression and destruction both on an individual and global level.

When we realize that the Elite and Non-Elite are ultimately One, we will find ourselves loving the Self and all Other-Selves equally. By raising our own vibration, we uplift the entire world. It’s more about transformation than manipulation.

Thank you for bringing this up!
