For example, in my macrobiotic years, people have managed to transform even eating brown rice into a complete cult, judging on the "heretics" eating "too much yin"... I am not familiar with the Universal people per se, I can only say that I found Barbara Marciniak's book quite inspiring. I am sure that there are groups that have formed a cult out of some of this material, it is a human tendency for those who need to delegate their own power to someone or something else. The text of the book in itself, on the contrary, is very self-empowering. That is the actual core of the message.
