When it comes to learning new stuff about WordPress, blogging and social networking, I always enjoy reading (Anti) Social Development, by Kim Woodbridge. It’s a great blog, full of helpful resources, great links, new ideas to try, and very cool tips you can apply to your own blog.
This past weekend, I meant to go through all the Twitter related tips, in her (Anti) Social Lists, since I am now finally using it, including how to create a custom background for the Twitter home page, but I stopped at the first line, following her post on Creating a Self Hosted Lifestream.
I am so grateful to Kim for this! I am in love now… with Sweetcron – The Automated Lifestream Blog Software. The lead developer, and web producer, Yong Fook is simply a genius.
Kim Woodbridge gives great information about it, including some videos by Yong Fook, in her Sweetcron post. If you want to learn more on how this free platform works, go on to Kim’s blog and read all about it! All I will say here, is that to me this is a winning concept. It’s the future. Blog evolution, in the new Web of social networking. It can be used as a self standing blog platform, with a mix of streams of what you do across the web on Twitter, Digg, Flickr and more, and posts. All in a real time flow. Because I already have WordPress, I am using it as a separate streaming section.
Here is my running lifestream, with the template redesigned to match my main blog. Simply awesome. Thank you Kim, for pointing me to it. Thank you Yong, for creating it.

This sounds very exciting. Just today I was just researching how to customize my Twitter background. I can’t wait to read those links. You are always doing exciting things with your blog. Thanks so much for sharing this valuable information Palma.
Hugs,
Lisa
