This past week I’ve been dealing with the concept of time and the cyclic nature of it. Partly due to the Holidays enhancing the cyclic feeling of the passage of time, and reading at length the two ATS threads highlighted in my previous post, Timewave Zero: the fractal nature of time. Today, I came across an interesting concept regarding the frequency of time, and how this frequency will change in 2012 from the current artificial 12:60, and a return to the natural 13:20, based on the Mayan Calendar.
The site Foundation for the Law of Time has an interesting approach and some intriguing articles. On December 21, 2012 our historical cycle will end, and there will be a return to natural time, where the interval from B.C. 3113 to A.D. 2012 comprises the totality of history as we know it.
The conclusion of the cycle in A.D. 2012 bodes a return to natural time and an evolutionary upgrading of planetary life. A resonant frequency phase shift will usher us into the brilliance of galactic-solar-planetary evolution. We shall pass not only into a post-historic, but a post-human, or super human phase of our evolution.
In fact, the entire 5,125-year cycle – hardly an instant of geological time – is but a mutative phase. This phase complete, a new evolutionary stage begins. This is known as the noosphere, literally, the mental sheathe of the planet, the mind of the Earth, where we think and act as a single planetary organism – a new race of bio-solar telepaths. With the advent of planetary consciousness will come not destruction, but, at long last, universal peace.
This site is founded by José Argüelles, whose work seems interesting and worth investigating, though there has been criticism over his interpretation of the Mayan Calendar and his Dreamspell pointing to different day calculations (not the final date). To have a complete picture, I think that it’s worth spending some time looking into his approach as well. He introduced the concept of the 1984 Harmonic Convergence, and I do like how he addresses the evolution of consciousness.
He explains the Law of Time, and the birth of the 12:60 frequency (based on 12 months and 60 minutes time division), which is artificial and follows machine technology, keeping the world from being as One. With this frequency, time is money.
The natural frequency is that of 13:20, which is interestingly also seen in our bodies, and follows the cycles of the moon (13 months/28 days). With this frequency, time is art. Though I still have to understand here the use of 20, rather than 28 in the frequency. On his site, there are several articles, including 2012: Time on Fire – The Prophecy: Recycling the Collapse of Time.

By the Tun calendar, each level of Conscious Evolution is divided by 13 equal sections. Each sequential consciousness cycle is accelerated by a factor of 20. That is, the creation of all effects in each cycle is multiplied by a factor of 20. We all have been told by the highest priests of our society, the Quantum Physicists, that the universe is expanding. 20X just could be the factor by which it is doing so.
What has come to me is; Consciousness, Divides by the factor of 13 and Creation, Multiplies by a factor of 20.
I have to say that there is so much confusion about all the different interpretations of the Mayan Calendar, and this is the reason why I postponed even looking into all the various currents of thought. Endless debates, different ending dates, like Carl Calleman’s October 28, 2011, which I believe was also subscribed to by the now departed Ian Lungold. Discordant calculations on the Dreamspell, and so on. You can get a taste of it here. To me, the official date is December 21, 2012, because this date is not only supported by the Mayan Calendar, it is also a date referenced to (as an astrological alignment) by many other cultures. It resonates from within. However, date aside, there are interesting bits and pieces of information one can take from all the Mayan interpretations.
Sometimes these bits and pieces come from unusual places, like Star Roots. The idea that the 13:20 frequency breaks away from the mechanical time warp, and aligns with Intergalactic Time as true fourth dimensional time, is fascinating. Fourth dimensional… is 13:20 the secret to time travel? Also, this Tribe page has a clarification on the 13:20 Dreamspell being an application of the ancient sacred knowledge of the 13:20 ratio of creation, and not to be confused with the official Mayan Calendar. It seems to be that both can coexist and be valid. Dreamspell seems to be a different, fourth dimensional way of “looking” at time, and it does not change the “end date”.

more and more lately i am becoming evermore convinced that this 2012 theory is legitimate. now there was a time when i welcomed and felt anxious for this time to be upon us. this was at a point in my life where i was not very happy and lonesome. however about 6 months ago i fell in love for this first time in my short 20 year life. i am no longer lonely and am actually quite happy for the most part. i’ve stopped relying on substance (weed) to get me happy and instead feel more of a reliance on my mate whom i live with. now my anxiety is in a different direction. i do not want to have to say goodbye to this newfound love of mine i want to spend life with her like this. i have also never “made a difference” in this world and i want to pursue my passion of becoming an english teacher. i want to have a admirable job i can be passionate about and come home to my “wife and kids” (if that is ever to be) though. this seems impossible with the looming date of 12-21-2012. now i feel as though i am dreading it and im looking for any refutation to disprove this theory whereas only 6 months ago i was looking for proofs. . . please help me out here what am i to do. is it just my ego desiring these things? are these even at all possible? i feel bad pouring my troubles to you like this but i dont know where else to turn. professional help would tell me i need mental help as most dont believe in 2012 as we do.

Hi justaguy – How beautiful that you fell in love and that you have projects about your future! There are many doom and gloom scenarios about 2012, but it isn’t about the “end of the world”, it’s about the “end of time as we know it” and the ushering of humanity into a golden era. It is a spiritual event. Everyone alive on this Planet is here on purpose, to witness this transformation.
It is alright that you express your concerns about it, and I hope I can offer you some relief on this issue. My next post will be about this subject.
The “end of history” and “time collapsing” as we know it, will be a welcomed gift for a world with no wars, no slavery to money and all the things that keep us locked away from our true potential. It is not the end of “life”, but a new multi-dimensional, richer experience of life, and a new understanding of time. I await this event with great anticipation!
The forces in power right now have all the interest to keep us locked in fear, and it will seem as if the world is going crazy with more tension and war. They hope that we won’t make it through the shift while we resonate with the frequency of fear (fearing that the end is near), and keep the labor/money/separation machine going. This is where the doom and gloom scenarios really originate from.
2012 is not about dying, it’s about transformation.
Radiate that love that your girlfriend triggered within you, all around you, and you will “make the difference” from day one. This is our work, to spread light where there is darkness. Enjoy her companionship and the beauty of creation. We will all witness the beginning of a golden cycle. Not only all be we well, it will be so much more, and your future kids will enjoy all of this!
Hi Palma. Interesting post on Time. I was looking at the Full Moon showing through the clouds tonight and I was a little peeved that it is called a “Blue Moon” being the second Full Moon this month. It is considered “different” from other Full Moons” within this artificial counting of Time that has so arrogantly been set up. Imagine! Some people feel that by a stroke of the pen they can reach up into the heavens and label the Moon’s comings and goings as odd!
But still it is We who buy into the “Time is Money” form of counting of Time and empower this system. Without our consent it would have no power.
I truly believe though, that the coming of the next age is unstoppable and that the “Time is Art” paradigm will rule the day. My heart tells me that a colossal “Enough!” is beginning to rise up in the collective Consciousness. After all, we are all One and we are all, one way or another, making our way back to our true Place.

Hi Marty! Sorry for the delay in replying… I have been dealing with rain leaking through the ceiling and moving furniture around to avoid damages. Kind of hard to focus with my stuff in odd places, a bucket collecting the drops, and mopping the floor! Somewhat disheartening. The landlords are really good people, so I am not upset. They have been trying to fix this several times now, hopefully, this spring it will be the last time! It’s raining a lot these days, hence the problem.
I agree, without our consent, it would have no power. Now the “time is money” machine is running the world. Individually, we can adjust to the new “time is art” way of seeing the passing of cycles. It is funny, that I have never worn a wrist watch…

First, let me acknowledge the awesome picture, the very informative post, and the return of your presence. Seems that we both took a long break and we both investigated the same subject. Hehe.
One thing I’d like to mention is that, to me, theories and laws are just conjectures at their best. No matter how much data anyone provides and where that data comes from, in an infinite universe, anything is still possible. There are many people out there who come up with all sorts of interpretation about the Mayan literature, the fate of the planet and its inhabitants, and the nature of our existence, but what most readers, researchers, and truth seekers do not realize is that the answers are not to be found “out there” in the world. It is there “deep inside” the mind. And one must do some kind of inner work to discover it. That could be the only one can truly communicate with the higher levels of his/her existence and the only way that the truth will reveal itself to the individual.
It’s fun to investigate, but I also allocate some time for silence, introspection, and meditation. I think that is what we should all be doing with our Time. Don’t you agree? =)

I fundamentally agree with you. The answers are deep within, and we all have access to the truth individually. One way to use other people’s interpretations (which are the result of their own inner seeking and moments of enlightenment), is to see if they “resonate” with us. This, to me, makes the difference between blind acceptance of theories without inner work, and acknowledgment of the possible truth within a theory, to which our own inner self says “yes!” to. Because we are all One, it doesn’t matter where the truth comes from, as long as we make it our own if it speaks to us. For example, I couldn’t have come up with the Timewave Zero theory, or the above interpretation of the time frequency. But once exposed to it, the resonance factor made it “my” inner truth. This of course, shouldn’t take away from working on ourselves, and merely rely on external data.

The idea of the resetting of time relates very closely to an idea that Gurdjieff states in his ‘Beelzebub’s Tales to His Grandson’
In this, he tells is nephew about the planet earth, and how they do not comprehend how time truely works. He gives the example of a drop of water, and how there are many, many molecules, and then atoms, and then parts of atoms within. He prooves that just like we form part of something greater (the Absolute), the parts of the atoms do also, and so also experience life. In the way we percieve the sun and use this to tell time, they use their local pheomenon to do the same. So when there is an external source of light on that water drop, that is somehow reflected against what they percieve to be a sun, they assume that the sun itself is the true source, but fail to acknowledge the possibility of the source really being that external source, or even what the source of that external source truely is.
The point being in his discussion is that time truely does not really exist. It is something we humans created, albeit very convenient.
So, the idea of resetting time is very plausable, and Gurdjieff would applaud such an acknowldegement.
This book is an exceptional read, and so is Meetings with Remarkable Men and it’s movie.
