I am aware that there are divergent views on the 2012 phenomenon, so disagreement is part of the game. Personally, I don't see the anticipation of a Shift in consciousness as superstition. If this anticipation happened worldwide on a very large scale, the shift would take place regardless of "ancient prophecies", just by the power of our thoughts. Consciousness influences matter. It is not me saying so, but the science of quantum physics. By anticipating the SOS, this is what we perpetuate. Humanity longs for a change. If we end up waking up to the SOS, so be it. But at least I will know that I have done my part in helping to bring this change about. And the kind of change that many of us seekers anticipate, is along the lines of what the Buddha said. That is, <em>kind, conducive to the good, the benefit, and the welfare of all</em>. It is up to each one of us individually, to choose where we want to focus our consciousness. The day was dark and gloomy to begin with, and the night was cold and the wind was actually whistling. Still I felt a particular joyful energy and Oneness within myself. I can only describe it as magical. I chatted with my Girlfriend who lives an hour away, early in the evening. She has been telling me that she has been waking up at 3:33 am from time to time in the last few months.
