I have been seeing this number for at least 10 years now on clocks, receipts, and even random addresses. I have always thought it was strange and thought that it was eventually going to mean something whether it be good or bad. It wasn't until this past Friday when I went to talk to a co-worker and noticed that the time on her computer was 11:11 and make a comment about it. I told her that I always see this number. She told me that she thought it meant something and I was a bit taken back. She searched for 1111 on her computer and to my total amazement, there were a ton of things on it. I could not believe my eyes and am still having a hard time with this three days later. I never thought to look up this strange happening because I just thought it was something that was happening to me. I was COMPLETELY FLOORED when I read about other people and how they thought it was only happening to them as well. It does make me feel better to know that I'm not the only one but it's also a little freaky that this is happening to so many people. Nobody I have ever told has ever said it's happened to them so I really thought that something or somebody was trying to tell me that something was going to happen whether good or bad. Every year when November 11th rolls around, I am always kind of curious if something great is going to happen to me or if the worst is going to happen. I am just so very shocked by this and feel like I must be dreaming. After reading everything I have on it, I still don't really know what it means but do have a better feeling that seeing 1111 is a positive thing rather than a negative thing. I am aware that there are divergent views on the 2012 phenomenon, so disagreement is part of the game. Personally, I don't see the anticipation of a Shift in consciousness as superstition. If this anticipation happened worldwide on a very large scale, the shift would take place regardless of "ancient prophecies", just by the power of our thoughts. Consciousness influences matter. It is not me saying so, but the science of quantum physics. By anticipating the SOS, this is what we perpetuate. Humanity longs for a change. If we end up waking up to the SOS, so be it. But at least I will know that I have done my part in helping to bring this change about. And the kind of change that many of us seekers anticipate, is along the lines of what the Buddha said.
